View URLs with this issue in the ‘Meta Description’ tab and ‘Duplicate’ filter, and export all URLs using the ‘Export’ button.

What Triggers This Issue

This issue is triggered when pages have duplicate meta descriptions.

For example if the following two pages:

https://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/
https://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/about/

Have the same meta description:

<meta name="description" content="Screaming Frog are a UK based SEO agency.">

How To Fix

Update duplicate meta descriptions as necessary, so important pages contain a unique and descriptive title for users and search engines.

If these are duplicate pages, then fix the duplicated pages by linking to a single version, and redirect or use canonicals where appropriate.
