Screaming Frog SEO Spider Update – Version 1.40

We have released a new version of the Screaming Frog SEO Spider available for download. Version 1.40 has the following updates –

  • The spider now supports the port tag (port numbers). We build links from the port onwards like it is a directory (Example – http://dev.example.com:8080/).
  • It fixes a bug with the export of some character encoding.
  • It fixes a bug where the content type is xhtml/application.
